We celebrated with this family the ordination of Jerome Smith as Elder of the Norwalk SDA Church. What an honor for both Pastor Brown and I. Know God will use us as we are willing to serve.

90-day challenge Reading Desire of Ages Day 16- chapter 15 at the marriage feast Based on John 2-1-11 ... Mary is excited to Jesus and while at this feast, she recognizes a moment for her son, Jesus, to shine. She asks him if he would be willing to share a miracle. He responds, my time has not yet come. White expounds, The claims of God are paramount even to the ties of human relationship. No earthly attraction should turn our feet from the path in which He bids us walk (DA 146.2). This hit home this morning because this was something I have been facing. The relationship I did not want to leave and the path God was leading were changing. Change is a rough path, especially as you love along the way. As Christians, we get called from here and there and sometimes it means taking a bigger leap than we would like. It is ok to wrestle with God and open your heart and ask God to make straight His will and give you peace as you accept His calling. The steps the disciples and Jesus took all to open other’s hearts to the saving Grace they did not know or understand. Later, white adds, Through the social relations, Christianity comes in contact with the world. Everyone who has received the divine illumination is to brighten the pathway of those who know not the Light of life (DA 152.3). I call this walking alongside another. These social relations are essential to building connection, trust, and love. Keep on making friends and building connections because even just one encounter could be the moment where for that person, figuratively, the miracle of water turns to wine might only happen in the heart. White ends, We should all become witnesses for Jesus. Social power, sanctified by the grace of Christ, must be improved in winning souls to the Saviour (DA 152.4). #DAwithDA

A great evening with our grief sessions tonight. God has helped though the journey to help us face loss and move toward peace. Tonight it was about moving forward with the right stuff. A wonderful journey watching God work with us all.

Matthew 10:6-7 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’

When coming tonight, take care of your bathroom needs before arriving. We will have a sign-in, and temperature readings, and a mask will be required. Further, 6-feet distancing is still in place.
