Thank you North County for the most incredible 40 years As many of you know we wrapped up filming our 40th annual recital this weekend and we are SO grateful for everyone who contributed to the Go Fund Me that made it all possible! While it is hard to say Goodbye, please know we love each and everyone of our students and dance families and are so blessed to have been able to teach you all these years. As NCDA closes, we are hopeful for the beginning of a new chapter for us all. WE LOVE YA BABY If you want to say goodbye, we will be at the studio from 1-3pm, Friday 8/7. I know this is late but I just heard that NorthCounty DanceArts closed it’s doors for good and I am so saddened by this news. Louis Mckay was one of my mentors ...and heros of my childhood. Not only did he turn me into a bad ass professional tap dancer but he also believed in me and taught me focus and discipline and him and his Tanya Mckay helped me get through several tragedies I went through as a child. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving me in so many ways that you’ll never know. I found this clip from the one routine I’ll never forget where Louis pushed and challenged me beyond what I believed possible back then that ended up sweeping all the competitions that year.
