It’s a Covid-correct North Coast Vettes dinner and meeting tonight at the Green Dragon Tavern... anxious members wanting to get their cars on the road ... soon ... we hope ... soon.

The Bridges of San Diegothe theme of today’s North Coast Vettes Mystery Run... small bridges, large bridges, walking bridges, driving bridges... all kinds... a...nd then picnics at the Cabrillo Monument to enjoy the spectacular views of San Diego and the bay. North Coast Vettes enjoyed the Green Dragon Tavern in Carlsbad for its first (in months) club meeting... outside ... they’re building an outdoor patio next week... add it to your dining options.

While the lockdown is in place, North Coast Vettes will postpone its meetings and runs. However, we will not postpone the connections between our members, for instance, birthdays: Happy May Birthdays to Valerie Treese, John Boyd, Rick Weber, Ryann McClellan, Ruth Kurisu and Linda Pick. HAPPY BIRTHDAYS!!

It was BQ (Before Quarantine) that North Coast Vettes came together for a Bon Voyage party for two wonderful member-couples: John and Valerie Treese are moving to FL and Shelton Davis and Lynn Becker are moving to AZ. We'll miss them . . . but, hey, now there's more reason to caravan to visit. NCV's meeting schedule is postponed due to the CV-19 until further notice.

North Coast Vettes will cease it's meeting schedule until further notice as a result of the virus instructions. Stay calm; wash your hands. See you soon.

As you sit out-waiting the quarantine requirements, consider the North Coast Vettes All-Corvette Car Show "Vettes for Veterans" which will be November 14, 2020 at The Shoppes in Carlsbad. The registration is attached. If you DON'T own a Corvette you can still contribute to the veterans we help by using the same form. WORKING TOGETHER . . . paying respect . . . thinking ahead.
