The U.S Department of Agriculture recently extended our meal waiver giving us the opportunity to once again provide meals to all children ages 2-18. Starting on Friday, September 4th from 1-2:30pm, NHS will serve meals every day that consists of breakfast, lunch, snack & dinner. Students need to be present to receive meals, but they do not need a school i.d card.

If your student needs a little math help this school year, "Do the Math" has you covered. The call-in math TV program and FREE math tutoring program will return... for its 19th season on Sept. 15. Math tutors will be standing by from 3:30 pm-5:30 pm every Tuesday and Wednesday. Call 636-4357 or 1-866-636-6284. The show airs live Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4 pm to 5 pm and can be seen in Bakersfield on Spectrum Cable Ch. 15, in California City, Boron and Mojave on Ch. 19, and in Rosamond on Ch. 180. Attention North High Seniors!!!

KHSD and BCSD schools will be providing drive thru food service for children aged 2 to 18 during the closure. Food will be served Monday to Friday 11am to 1pm n...o ID required all sites will provide food. (They get a lunch for that day and breakfast for the following day). If kids walk they must take food home and may not congregate on campuses, social distancing is also expected. Take home wash hands eat lunch and put breakfast in refrigerator! At this time not during Spring break.

Tomorrow, North High will begin providing meals for children ages 2-18. Meals can be picked up between 11am and 1pm in the Student Drop Off Loop. This service will be available until April 3rd and only Mondays-Fridays.

We had such a fun time tonight as we hosted students and parents at our Plant Night with North High School Parent and Family Center! What a fun evening creating some awesome succulent arrangments in the agriculture department. We have one more coming up, contact Mrs. Holloway in the Parent Center or Mrs. O'Connor to learn more!
