I’m very excited to be directing the show in London. We start rehearsals next week and have assembled the largest crew I've ever worked, with along with a very talented cast, and the NBSC team.

David is a great talent and we are excited to welcome him to the team!

For many years NBSC has produced quality performances in Northern CA, and has given a great many in our community a chance to perform... Now, after losing everything and our venue in the CA fires last year... "We finally feel there is A STORY WORTH TELLING... it just happens to be on the Other Side of the Ocean." North Bay Stage Company will produce Call Me Diana, an original musical showcase production in London’s West End in 2019. ... Update: We're now at 98% of Goal! Call Me Diana: A Board Member's thoughts: Admittedly, my view of Princess Diana is framed by child eyes - her marriage to Prince Charles took place the year I was born. I knew her as a beautiful, charitable woman, a fashion icon, and most importantly - the mother of my future husband, Prince William. (Well, that's what adolescent me dreamed about). I remember Diana's death vividly. My family was on vacation in South Carolina. My aunt Lisa, who more than loved Diana, was in... utter shock regarding that dark day, August 31, 1997. Most of that vacation was spent glued to the television while we tried to piece together all that lead up to such a tragic death. Mostly, I remember thinking how we value gossip, the tabloids, and the "dirt" on our celebrities. So much, that it directly lead to the death of an amazing human being. I can't help but think now how not much has changed. These are the times of reality TV, Kardashians, and crowdsourced information. It's so much worse than it was in 1997. We don't even know what's real anymore. This is why it's important to me that Call Me Diana becomes a realized dream for North Bay Stage Company. We can't change the future without looking at our past. It's eerie, the parallels that can be drawn to what was happening then in the world, and what is happening now. I joined the Board of Directors for North Bay Stage Company because I truly believe in the goal: to provide an avenue for all artists in our community to showcase their talents. As North Bay Stage has grown, so has that community. Community to us doesn't just mean our friends in Sonoma County. We open our arms to all who want to make their dreams come true. And we know some great people across the pond, who have a dream just waiting to be realized. We couldn't think of a better way to really be a part of something profound; something that would resonate with people, something that would be uniting. Because in these polarized times, we need to remember that we're all here to help each other. If nothing else, that was Diana's legacy.
