There are still spots available for parents of kids who missed the audition days but still wants their children apart of the program. ... Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Every child that auditions is cast. The roles they receive in the play depend on how they audition and past experience. There will be forms that a parent will need to filled out and you will also need to register for the program at that time if you have not done so already. During your audition you may be asked to read from the script. If you have a monologue prepared you may say it but it is not necessary UNLESS it is requested. Based on the needs of the play, musical, dancing, Etc... the following could take place. Actors will be taught a small dance to evaluate their dance skills. They will be asked to sing a small part of a song of their choice. You'll want to pick a song that showcases your voice. After you audition you are free to leave. The director will notify you within a day if you need to return for a second audition (call back) Letters, with assigned rolls and information will be mailed out after all casting is complete. Parents and actors are responsible for the costs of their costumes. NOR Junior Theater Meet the Cast: My name is Riley Fallis and I am 12 years old. I started NOR Junior Theater this summer and I am currently in my 3rd producti...on with their program. I love being apart of North of the River Recreation and Park District Junior Theater because I get to be dramatic and being apart of their theater family. NOR Junior Theater Meet the Cast: Hello my name is VaLynn Transmeier and I will be playing Elsa in the production of Frozen Jr. Presented by NOR Junior Theater.... I am 15 years old and have be doing productions with North of the River Recreation and Park District Junior Theater for over 10 years. I am currently in my 26th production with NOR Junior Theater. I love the fact that the junior theater becomes a bigger family throughout each show. Every time a new person joins our program they join our theater family.
