Message from Mrs. Sloan our middle school science teacher and 8th grade home room teacher: Hello! I teach Life skills class to the 8th graders where they learn all kinds of life skills throughout the year. I am currently teaching them to sew, which we will use for several projects and a collaborative quilt! I want to move into some basic embroidery lessons too so they can add to their quilt squares. I was wondering if anyone has, or knows someone who has some small embroidery hoops they are willing to part with/donate to our class? Possibly even some old patterns you are done with? Thanks!!! In August of 2018 we had the ribbon cutting for our new track. Little feet haven’t run on it for a few months but tomorrow morning at 8am our art teacher Bri Kerr is going to bring back the Thursday morning run by hosting a live zoom run with any student interested in joining in. Run in your neighborhood, jog in place, or just do something active from home and cheer each other on as we bring back this healthful Thursday morning tradition.
