The Assessment Trailer donated by the Woodland Sunrise Rotary Club allowed us the opportunity to evaluate the appropriate trykes to order for 7 children, repair 2 trykes that were previously donated, and fit and presented 7 trykes all in one long, fulfilling day last Saturday.
This is an amazing video from Team Davis featuring some of our very own NorCal Trykers. Please enjoy! https://youtu.be/2UZLH1mjwzQ
In 2018 NorCal Trykers donated the smallest Tryke available to Audrey who has outgrown it, so last Sunday we provided the next size up. That is our promise to each NorCal Tryker recipient: If they keep their Tryke in good condition, we will be happy to provide an up cycle when they outgrow it. Thanks to our amazing donors who make this possible.
More Trykes donated to amazing kids last Sunday on a picture perfect day. Thanks to all of our donors who make this possible.
In 2018, NorCal Trykers donated Abby’s first Tryke. She has used it well and out grown it, so we provided the next size up so she can continue her tryking adventures.
Sebastian and Jonathan received their Trykes today and are looking forward to the fun they are going to have.
Thanks to our amazing donors, NorCal Trykers was able to donate 70 Trykes in 2020 to kids with special needs despite the challenges of COVID-19. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts!
Thanks to the Biberstein Social Action Fund for their generous donation to NorCal Trykers. Your donation will fund specialized therapeutic tricycles for kids with special needs. This is from the Davis Enterprise: Biberstein fund... hands out grants Ten nonprofit social service groups in Yolo County have received grants totaling $14,500 from a fund established by Congregation Bet Haverim, Jewish Fellowship of Davis. The Biberstein Social Action Fund was established in 2002 to honor longtime Davis residents Ernie and Hannah Biberstein for their contributions to community service and social justice. The fund sponsors efforts to address problems related to poverty, discrimination, abuse and neglect. The following organizations were funded: Empower Yolo, Fourth and Hope, Interfaith Rotating Winter Shelter, Make it Happen for Yolo County, Meals on Wheels Yolo County, Multicultural Families Rock, NorCal Trykers, Personal Care Pantry (Woodland United Methodist Church), STEAC, Suicide Prevention of Yolo County. Fourteen organizations applied for grants this year with requests totaling $27,025.
This is an amazing organization doing great work!! Thank you!!!
