Yesterday our members and several of there parents volunteered at the Modesto Toyota IF’Expo hosted by MODESTO TOYOTA Informative Fisherman and Matt Frazier. It was a way for us to not only give back to our community, but to help support one our long time sponsors, Modesto Toyota. I couldn’t be prouder of our team, and parents. I received many compliments regarding our team members yesterday. I know that we represented ALL our sponsors and our community in a positive way, and... you should all be proud! Thank You to all our participants, parents, and sponsors that support us, and make what we do possible. #modestotoyota #turnersoutdoorsman #gregnunesranchinc #fishinnremmision #buffalowbbq #gregnunesrealty #BurnsideBodyShop #dibuoanddefendisinsurancebrokersllc #sudnfloats #mccoytireco #elliottsolutions #teamcandcmarine #allterraintackle #blackfishgear #riverwisefishing #modestoambassadors

Sunday NorCal High School Bass Fishing hosted our fourth event of the 2021 season. It started out a little windy, as we completed check-in, livewell inspections, and our pre blast off meeting at the Blue Oaks Recreation area. The wind quickly died down, the sun came out, and it heated up just like the fishing. Our members soon realized, Lake Don Pedro was the place to be as we set a club record weighing in over double the weight of any previous NorCal High School Bass even...t. Way to go, guys and gals...GREAT JOB! It was a close one, with Arian edging out Brad for 1st place by just an once! Jacob finished in 3rd and took home the Team C&C Marine Big Fish Award, Josh finished 4th, and Hayden rounded out the Top 5. It was a great day, with ALL participants bringing fish to the scales, and 9 of the 13 bringing in limits of bass. We would like to thank all of our boat captains for once again making it happen, we couldn't do what we do without all of you! We would also like to encourage everyone to take a minute out of your day, and say a prayer for our friend Mason and his family. #TeamMason We are very fortunate to have many great sponsors that help us throughout the year. Thank You for your continued support! Please check them out and help support them, like they do us.....and don't forget to tell them NorCal High School Bass Fishing sent you. NorCal High School Bass Fishing had a GREAT time last night at our monthly meeting. After a few housekeeping items were handled, we turned the floor over to Ryan Cook. Man what a great seminar and question and answer period. Ryan continues to support the local youth bass fishing community like nobody else. He is always there to talk about different techniques, always says hello if he sees them out and about, shows up to weigh-ins to show his support, or just stops by to enjoy a laugh. THANK YOU Ryan, and thank you to those that support him. For those of you looking to get out for a day on the water and learn from a great teacher....hit him up! (Sooner then later, sounds like he’s pretty booked the next couple months) #ryancookfishing

NorCal High School Bass Fishing traveled to the CA Delta for our 3rd event of the 2021 season on Sunday, 21st. Our anglers were met with a cold front, and extremely windy conditions, but as always they grinded it out, and had a great time. The team of Ian and Arian topped the field, giving Ian his 3rd consecutive win...HAMMER!!! Brad and Sam took second place bringing in a nice limit, and Lucas and new member Xaiver finished in 3rd. The Team C&C Marine Big Fish award went... to Josh, who brought in a 4.02lb beauty. We would like to thank Jeff Cissell for once again helping us out as a boat captain. NorCal High School Bass Fishing 07.09.2020

A few days ago, Mason and his family received some very unsettling news. His scans did not come back the way they, or anyone on #teammason hoped and prayed they would. He has an uphill battle ahead of him, but with everyone's prayers and support Mason and his family can and will beat this. After speaking with our club President, Vice President and Co-Advisor we have decided to make a $100 donation from NorCal High School Bass Fishing to the Ferrulli family to help with the... many costs they will be amassing these next few months. There is also talks of some upcoming fundraisers, if / when I hear the specifics I will pass the information along. I encourage all of you to not only personally donate if possible, but to offer words of encouragement for this young man and his family. For those of you that do not know or know of Mason and his story, I have included some information below written by our own club member Kyle's mom, Kellie. Mason's journey began in 2017 at just 10 years old after being diagnosed with brain cancer. He has endured so much in such a short period of time, overcoming it all with grace and gratitude. Monica and Kyle have been with him every step of his journey, never leaving Masons side. It was because of the generosity of their friends, family, and the community that Monica and Kyle were able to give Mason the treatment he needed to keep him alive. Today's news changes Mason's story into one that has an uncertain ending. This is a bigger fight, a critical fight, a fight that they cant loose. His cancer has returned, and it returned in a big way. There are 3 new tumors in his spine and a new spot on his brain. There is an urgency in treating his spine as it has already started to take an affect on Mason and his mobility. He is in pain and controlling the pain is now in the hands of strong medication. This is a fight no child should have to fight especially not multiple times. This is a fight that the Ferrulli's cant fight on their own. They need our help! It is not something they are comfortable asking, but I refuse to allow them to do this on their own knowing they need to concentrate on Mason. Also Knowing that Kyle will have to chose between working and spending precious time with his son, something a parent should not have to do. And so I am asking for you to please donate to help this family who is beyond broken. They are so beyond thankful for everything that everyone has done for them in the past, it was a hard fight for them to allow me to ask for this help. They need it now more than ever. Thank you so much in advance for any donation you can give, and for any prayers you can send them https://www.gofundme.com/f/mason-ferrulli

Good afternoon everyone, Hope everybody had a nice weekend. We have a meeting scheduled for this Wednesday, September 2nd. We have two options - Option #1 Have the meeting at my residence at 6:30pm Wednesday as scheduled, or Option #2 Cover pairings and Outing info via email, and spend 30-45 minutes at the conclusion of our September Outing and have an official meeting. I would like everyone's responses by Monday, August 31st at 5pm so that I can send out an email so every...one can plan accordingly. We will go with a simple majority, one vote per family. I have attached the Agenda (email was just sent) for everyone's reference, and it's important for all to consider, that we do have a couple prospective members that are excited about meeting everyone, and seeing what the club is about. That being said I can tell you my vote is to have the meeting as scheduled. Option #1 Have the meeting at my residence (it will be outside, so please bring chairs) at 6:30pm Wednesday as scheduled. Option #2 Cover pairings and Outing info via email, and spend 30-45 minutes at the conclusion of our September Outing and have an official meeting We also need everyone that want's to fish to start looking for and securing a boat captain, if you do not already have one. We will be one boat shorter then normal, as I plan on fishing my Modesto AmBassAdors tournament being held that same day / time as our event.
