Q2 was an interesting quarter for Non Plus Ultra. We were not able to hold any events at our venues due to the shelter-in-place, but we were able to get our venues ready to host events in the future by cleaning them up and putting in sanitation stations. We were also able to rediscover what makes NPU so special: our amazing venues! So read on to see what we were up to during the Q2 shelter-in-place.

Last week, we gave everyone some tips on what you should and should not do during these crazy pandemic times. This week, we want to follow up on one of our tips from last week and give you a more thorough rundown of what to do when you wash your hands.

With businesses in California slowly beginning to open back up, it’s important to know the do’s and don’ts of being around other people. This may seem like a banal topic right now, but it’s always good to make sure you’re up to date on safety advice during this pandemic. Plus, if you plan on attending any small gatherings, you’re going to need to know this stuff. So, sit back, relax, and read on to view a list of helpful reminders on how to handle yourself in public. You’ll thank us later. Or maybe you won’t, but we won’t hold that against you.

After three long months of working from home, NPU is back in the office and ready to help you with your events! With California moving into phase 2 of reopening, we can get back to work in our San Francisco headquarters and prepare to welcome our clients back.

We have a lot of event venues in the Non Plus Ultra portfolio, all of which come with a rich history. Get to know our venues like you never have before! The Bay Area is our home; it’s where NPU was founded, and because of the support of companies, organizations, neighbors, and friends like you, we have grown into the company we are today. We want to show our gratitude and our... appreciation to our amazing community. We are actively re-focusing our resources and efforts to do our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19. We are making all of NPU’s resources available for emergency management hubs, shelter in place locations, and the much needed support to safely operate these activities. We’ve partnered with so many local business leaders to create SJ SHIP Kits out of The San Jose Armory, providing care packages to tens of thousands of people in need. It is our goal to utilize all of our spaces and all of our resources in similar ways. If there’re any programs or organizations in need of space to support the millions of people affected by COVID-19, we are here to help, because here, at NPU, community is always at the center of what we do.
