We have just gotten word from contra costa health that Noni’s pet boutique and grooming is to remain closed until may 1st. We will be contacting customers with any upcoming appointments to reschedule over the next week. During this time we will periodically be checking messages as well.We truly cannot apologize enough and want to thank you for your patience during this time. Since dog grooming is Considered essential to an animal’s well-being Noni’s pet boutique and grooming will continue operations as usual. As of right now our hours of operation may fluctuate. To help prevent the spread of Covid 19 we are taking extra sanitizing precautions to keep both our clientele and staff healthy. This includes: Hourly sanitizing of our front lobby, door handles, phones, and laptops. Sanitizing of a grooming tables and equipment between every pet be...ing groomed or bathed. - Extra sanitizing to be done at the end of each day. If you feel like you are at risk of contracting COVID-19 and need someone else to drop your pet off to be groomed, we surely do not mind calling to gather notes for your pets grooming. If you call upon arrival, we can also meet you at your car to gather notes and bring your dog into our facility. Noni is also currently offering a discount rate for pick up and drop off services. Please call for more information. If you feel like you are sick or getting sick and have an appointment scheduled already, please call at anytime to reschedule at a further date. We are currently discontinuing walk in services at this time. We ask that you make an appointment for any services. We are thrilled to introduce our new daycare program and look forward to spending quality time with your pet. Our goal is to provide your pet with safe supervised social play as well as lots of love & praise. Your pet’s day will be filled with stimulating activities along with a daily walk in the park, sheathed permitting. Noni’s day care is your dog’s home away from home. We share the love you have for your pet and this is why we have trained certified staff members in pet ...first aid and CPR. You will have peace of mind knowing that your pet is safe and happy while you are apart and at the end of the day your pet will be appreciative and well exercised. We interview every dog to make sure day care is the right place for your pet. All dogs must pass a temperament evaluation screening for the safety of everyone. To schedule your pet’s temperament evaluation: Call for an appointment prior to scheduling day care. Please let us know you are a new client wanting an evaluation. We will discuss your pet’s history and interactions with other dogs in the past. During the interview, your pet will be introduced to other friendly dogs at one at a time. We will monitor your pet’s body language and reactions during this interaction. If we deem your pet safe we can proceed with scheduling day care.

Experienced Pet Stylist Wanted in Busy Pleasant Hill Grooming Salon (concord / pleasant hill / martinez) compensation: Negotiable employment type: full-time ... As we expand our business, Noni's Pet Boutique and Grooming is looking to add a dedicated full-time or part-time Pet Stylist and a full-time or part-time Doggy Daycare Dog Handler for our new small breed day care (opening soon!). Noni's started off as a small grooming salon, but after 4 years of business, we have continually grown in our clientele. We are now in the process of remodeling our salon and opening a small breed daycare. We are in search of two great workers to complete our team. Qualifications needed for Pet Stylist: -Pet Stylist experience - 2+ years. -A Pet Stylist with management potential would be great but not needed. -Knowledge in pattern cuts, scissor work, and dog breeds. -Excellent client communication skills especially with check-ins. Must be able to correctly get information from a client to know what kind of haircut you'll be doing -Must have knowledge or willingness to use a computer database to input notes, update client information as needed, and understand scheduling (we use Gingr) -Must be reliable and able to work weekends (9-5 Sat, 8-4 Sun) -You MUST have your own working grooming tools. We provide shampoo/sprays, ear cleaner/powder, quik stop, groom loops, cool lube, etc but you need to bring your own clippers, blades, scissors, brushes, etc. -Must be able to groom a minimum of 5 dogs per day but 6+ in preferred -Grooming cats is a bonus but not necessary Please Note: We pay 50% commissions plus full cash tips here. If you are looking for 1099 work, unfortunately Noni's is not the place for you. Qualifications needed for Dog Handler: -Experience preferred but not needed -Conducting doggy interviews to ensure that all guests demonstrate socially acceptable behavior to play with other doggies - Input vaccination records and daily data with each reservation and check-in as well as completing check-outs (we use Gingr) -Ensure quality customer service, care, and attention at all times -Ensure a safe and clean environment at all times for dogs as well as employees. Perform continual cleaning to ensure a healthy and safe environment -Perform receptionists duties include answering phones, data entry, customer interface, processing payments, and making reservations If you are interested in either position please contact us

Attention to current and future clients. Below is a list of vaccines we require. If your a current client & your pup or cat gets updated shots please bring in those new records. Rabies- used to prevent rabies, which is caused when an animal or human is bitten by an infected animal. This vaccine is also required by law. Bordetella- protects against kennel cough, it can be caused by indirect contact between animals that have coughing and sneezing.... Distemper- can be know as many different names such as 5 in 1, DA2PPV, DHPP, DA2PP or DHPPV. It not only protects against canine distemper but, Hepatitis, Canine Adenovirus, Parovirus and Parainfluenza. We ask for these vaccines to not only protect your dog(s) but to also to protect our other clients.

Dear Wonderful Clients: As the grooming world continues to evolve, we are always striving to offer the most efficient & best grooming services. Starting August 1st, 2018 we are making some minor adjustments to our existing packages as well as adding new packages: Due to an increase in industry pricing we have omitted tooth brushing from our grooming packages & added in a cologne spritz instead. You are welcome to add tooth brushing & a breath spray spritz onto your grooming... package for an additional 5.00 dollars. All of our Massage Bath prices have adjusted to better reflect the size and coat type of the pet. We have changed the name of a Massage Bath #2 to a Tidy Up Package. The vast majority of our Quick Services have adjusted in pricing. We are also now offering a 3 Quick Services for 30.00 deal. Please inquire within! Dogs play many roles in our lives. Family member, friend, helper, defender and, from time to time, psychiatrist. Anyone who has ever felt the familiar warm heartbeat at their feet knows that canine friends offer pure unconditional love and loyalty.

In memory of Ms. Linda Johns Dear friends, clients, and dog lovers. It is with heavy hearts that we say we have lost a wonderful client. It was our greatest pleasure getting to know Ms. Linda on a personal level and grooming her beloved bichon Gracie. All of us here at Noni's will keep her in our hearts forever.
