Chuck Watson Jr. plans to pilot Jim Betz's Mustang Cobra Jet in NMCA Holley EFI Factory Super Cars in 2021, and may also pilot his own Mustang Cobra Jet in the Ford Performance Cobra Jet Showdown presented by Watson Racing, March 4-7 at the NMRA Spring Break Shootout at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Florida, and the Ford Performance Cobra Jet Showdown presented by Watson Racing at the NMCA All-American Nationals, Aug. 26-29 at Summit Motorsports Park in Ohio. At the end of the 2020 NMCA Drag Racing season, Holley EFI Factory Super Cars racer Chris Holbrook parted ways with his Cobra Jet Mustang to concentrate on customer engines. As it turns out, Holbrook will be concentrating on another racing program as well, as he and Whipple Superchargers are planning to step into VP Racing Lubricants Xtreme Pro Mod for 2021.
