Stop for a second and enjoy this beautiful view from the North Broadway Bridge, built over the L.A. River in 1911 and restored in 2000. Did you know? - The bridge was originally known as the Buena Vista Viaduct and was designed by Homer Hamlin and Alfred P. Rosenheim. Its Beaux Arts design was a reflection of the City Beautiful Movement, which sought to beautify urban centers nationwide at the beginning of the 20th century. It was the longest and widest concrete arch bridge in California when it was completed, spanning 968 feet in total.

We are proud to announce that our friends at @dublab, in collaboration with @musiccenterla, are presenting a new public screening and sound installation of winning entries from #BrianEno and #RogerEno A Quiet Scene. Inspired by the Enos' Mixing Colours project, the installation will feature 100+ short films to be shown daily at Jerry Moss Plaza located at The Music Center, from 8AM to 10PM, starting today until February 21, 2021. Visitors can enjoy the screenings and music from a safe outdoor location. The installation is free and open to the public. Masks and social distancing are required. Be safe and enjoy this tranquil and meditative space!

Angelino Heights is home to an incredible number of beautifully preserved Victorian houses. Can you recognize any of them? The one in the first picture is the famous Charmed house (home to much of the magic of the 1990's Charmed TV show), followed by the Foy House (Home of Mary E. Foy, who became first woman City Librarian in 1880). All of them have such an incredible style.
