We are honored to be showing our work in the wonderful new gallery at High Hand opening tomorrow February 2nd! In this beautiful new space, you will find works ...from 39 talented, local artists working in a variety of mediums. Hours will be Wednesday-Friday 11am-4pm and Saturday-Sunday 10am-4pm. Location is in the middle of the fruit shed where the Tin Thimble used to be. We hope you stop in!

It doesn’t get much more Art Nouveau than this! The end of our pumpkin making season always moves us into new ideas and working right on the edge of our curre...nt skill level. It’s probably no surprise that this means combining more detailed, sculptural elements with our blown pumpkins to create something refreshing and new! These experiments often lead us into what we will be making the following year. Next up is the Placer Artists Studios Tour! We will still have pumpkins available during the tour. Not only do our pumpkins make unique centerpieces for the holidays and bring the celebration of harvest season into your home, but they are also simply stunning just sitting in the sunlight I know I could look at (and photograph) this one for hours..even Tucker seems to be mesmerized.
