We sat down with Teacher Trevor for a Q & A. Read the full interview on our blog. What do you hope to achieve in teaching students? As an educator, I hope that providing students with musically enriching experiences will allow students to reach their full potential, regardless of their future aspirations. I hope that a musical education will foster a lifelong love for music, cultivate creativity, responsibility, time management, and collaboration. Additionally, I feel it is incredibly important to establish a positive, safe, and fun environment for students to learn, grow, and even make mistakes. In my own teaching, I strive to approach students as individuals, each with different ways of learning and thinking critically about music.

His music influenced an array of important composers including Bartok, Messiaen, Benjamin, and among others.
