Hello, We would like to start off by apologizing for temporarily disabling the Facebook page. Our intent was not to silence any comments or concerns, but to instead get to the bottom of the incident prior to publicly responding and having this escalate further. We would also like to say that due to some language barriers, though the owner himself (Ben) would like to respond, his children will be doing so on his behalf. We are sorry that Kathy felt slighted or discriminated ...against, but we do believe that it was a huge misunderstanding. Many customers can attest to the fact that the owners, as immigrants, have both discernible accents and are not proficient in all areas of English, though they try their best even when they may need further clarification. We would like to share the events as described by Ben. Three customers came in on Saturday afternoon and requested the back room, most likely thinking that it was empty. Unfortunately this was not the case, and there was already a party situated back there. One of them then explained that she had cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy, so being further away from other people would be better. Since it was a busy time, the dine in area was full and there was simply not space to accommodate her request. They then asked if they could order food to go, and Ben responded, Of course and that it would be better for them. He had no ill intentions and was simply thinking of the best alternative with her situation. This may have come across as callous or insensitive, but we can assure you that this was the farthest thing from that. In fact, he thought that they were walking to the front to order at the counter, but instead they walked out. He was there waiting to take their order and prioritize it, and was surprised to see that. We regularly try to accommodate customer requests and do so whenever possible. We did not refuse service by any means and are terribly upset that this has escalated to such a big misunderstanding. We care for and value our customers and their health.

We will be CLOSED for vacation during July 5 - July 19. We will reopen on July 19. Come in and get your fix before we leave, or excitedly await our return! We apologize for any inconvenience, but we appreciate your business and hope to see you soon! Thank you!
