New Asian Massage 05.07.2021

The Greater Sacramento Region dropped below 15% ICU capacity today. The resulting stay-at-home order will become effective on December 10, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. Consequently, we will close on December 10, 2020, at 9:30 p.m. and likely will not reopen until next year. Please stay safe. We hope to see you in the New Year!

The State of California implemented a new Covid metric that will determine whether personal services businesses can remain open. So long as the Greater Sacramento Region has ICU capacity at 15% or more, we can remain open. As of December 3, 2020, the Region is at 22.2%. If it drops below 15%, we will have to close. But not yet, not yet. Watch for further announcements here.

As you probably are aware, the State of California has implemented a curfew from 10 PM to 5 AM. To permit our masseuses and customers to comply with the curfew, we will close daily at 9:30 PM. Come in early, and bring your mask!

Hey everybody! Placer County, as well as most of California, has returned to the Purple Tier (worst Covid level). In October, though, the State modified how personal services could operate in the Purple Tier. Previously, personal services could only operate outside if the county was in Purple. Now, personal services can open for indoor service in Purple, so long as precautions are taken. New Asian Massage can remain open so long as customers and masseuses wear masks, both sanitize/wash hands and sanitizing the room post use. That is being done already. We are monitoring the situation closely. Until there is a lockdown, we will remain open. But wear a mask!

Hey everybody! Placer County has slipped a bit and has returned to the Red Tier of the Covid-19 metrics for the State of California. We are still open though! We will continue to offer massage services with the necessary precautions - masks for customers and massage providers, hand washing/sanitizing and other requirements. We hope to see you soon!

Today's Placer County update on Covid closures: Placer is in Purple (the worst). Placer expects to move into Red on September 8. It is unclear whether we can open while Placer is in Red. When Placer moves into Orange or Yellow, we will be able to open (with modifications). Masks will be required for the providers as well as our guests.

Here is the latest update: the Governor changed the California reopening system today. With the change, it may be another three weeks before personal services businesses can reopen, although hair salons and barbershops can reopen on August 31.

To our valued customers - a message from the California Massage Therapy Council: "As of today June 10, 2020, the up-to-date status is that the State is not yet giving counties permission for massage therapists to generally provide services in California." The good news, however, is that Placer County has asked the Governor about Phase 3 businesses, such as nail salons, tattoo parlors and massage therapists.... We are hopeful that we will be able to reopen in a very short time. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
