Our friend Elliott Dean Rubinson has passed. He is the CEO of Armadillo Enterprises, the parent company for Dean Guitars, ddrum and Luna Guitars. Elliott was responsible for bringing Dean guitars back to life after the popular 70's, 80's brand had been long forgotten. Dean was the first guitar brand that my company Neal's Music carried. We have had more success with Dean guitars than any other brand and I feel that it is largely due to Elliott's close interaction with the des...ign and building of the guitars as well as his passion and love of music. When Elliott would come to California he would always check in with us to see how we were doing. We had many wonderful dinners with him celebrating our success with Dean guitars. He's was also a world-class bassist who has toured with Michael Schenker, Michael Angelo Batio and Uli Jon Roth. Elliott will be truly missed and our condolences go out to his family. See more
