Happy Valentines Day
Before the devastating fire ...
Join California State Parks Director Armando Quintero to wish Humboldt Redwoods State Park a very happy 100th birthday. California State Parks North Coast Redwo...ods Interpreter Marnin Robbins and Director Quintero discuss new plans, perspectives, and hopes for the nation's most biodiverse park system. This is the first of a year-long series of interviews commemorating the centennial of Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Founded in 1921, Humboldt Redwoods encompasses many superlatives: largest remaining old-growth redwood forest on the planet, tallest trees in the world, and birthplace of the California State Parks system, Save the Redwoods League, and the land trust movement. Director Quintero will speak to the important milestone of the founding of Humboldt Redwoods, an event that inspired the creation of other parks and wilderness areas across the globe. The director will also speak about his vision for California State Parks: the importance of conservation, environmental education, and equitable access for all Californians.
How many of you are using Zoom for Parlor meetings? Anyone need assistance with Zoom? Our chairman of Electronic Communications Committee, John Testa , would be happy to assist. Let us know.
