Joven Noble Sacred Circles would like to present you to Ysenia Sepulveda, Lead Xinachtli Circle Keeper, below is Ysenia's short bio: I am a native of Hayward, CA and 25 years young. Though I am from the East Bay, I have spent some time in San Jose while attending SJSU and obtaining employment. This past May I graduated from SJSU with a BA in Sociology with an emphasis on Community Change and a minor in Mexican American Studies. While I enjoy time spent with loved ones, I also have a passion for reading books with a critical perspective, mangoes, hiking, writing and performing spoken word, community/cultural events, and working and spending time with our brilliant youth- which I am gratefully able to do. Currently, I work with Joven Noble and Xinachtli Sacred Circles in the East Side San Jose and some downtown locations.

Joven Noble Sacred Circles would like to present you to Ariel Jimenez, Lead Joven Noble Circle Keeper: My name is Ariel Jimenez and I am a Latino male that currently resides in a small town called San Martin. I was born in Ocotlan Jalisco but migrated to the United States at an early age. Although I was born in Mexico, I was raised in East Side San Jose and that is where I call home. I grew up with an older brother and a younger sister and both serve as my motivation today. A...s a youth I was a smart individual that would constantly get into trouble. After being expelled from various schools I found myself attending Stonegate community school. As i attended this school I was able to find the true value of education. After graduating from August Boeger Middle School I was given a unique opportunity to attend Bellarmine College Prep which is a prestige private jesuit High School. At this high school I was able to focus on my academics and athletics. After graduating from Bellarmine I attended San Jose State University where I studied Psychology and Sociology. After graduating from college I saw the true value in community work and have since dedicated myself to working in different low income communities. Right out of college I began working for an agency called Communivercity San Jose. There, I help run a program called Joven Noble. With this program I help a variety of at promise youth transition into adulthood and assist them in refining the definition of manhood. As I continue my dedication to this agency and this program I do plan to continue pursuing higher education and pursue my Master in Social Work. Joven Noble Sacred Circle would like to introduce our Circle Keepers Ysenia Sepulveda and Ariel Jimenez. Ysenia and Ariel carry the responsibility of facilitating circulos out of the McKinley Neighborhood Center and at three east side schools; Foothill High School, WC Overfelt High School, and Latino College Prep Academy. We are beyond blessed to have two strong and sacred warriors working to bring healing to the youth of our San Jose communities.
