I finally taught my first @wealthyhairstylist class! I focused entirely on the first module of my course, which is all about PRICING! I spent most of the morning helping the talented ladies of @veilofgrace salon have clear guidance on how to charge for each color service they offer. And let me tell you this exercise was a real eye opener for them! To see that Aha! moment made all the hard work creating this course SO worth it!... How is this sweet peanut 3 and a half already!? This weekend was spent cleaning and organizing our home life. Has anyone listed items on Facebook Marketplace!?? OMGeee... this is my new favorite thing to do. It's so easy to list items, and what a great way to make some quick cash from items that are just not being used anymore or lying around the house. As fall is approaching so are all the cute hair accessories! I always love a cute beanie, but I also love a scarf wrapped in the hair too! - A Styling tip for wearing a silk scarf in your hair - Once you make your low ponytail, slip one end of the scarf through your hair tie. The tail end of the scarf you can wrap around your ponytail, and then tuck the tiny end of the scarf under your hair tie. ... Split your hair into two sections. One section will have the scarf in it. To begin the rope braid, twist both sections going right, then wrap them around each other going left. This will lock the hair into the rope braid. Then continue to twist right, then wrap the two sections left (around each other). Keep doing this until you get to the end of your ponytail. Viola! Now you have a rope braid with a cute scarf accent! See more

Fresh new wall paper is up at the salon, makeup counters are demoed (don’t worry we still have one Makeup counter for our @veilofgrace.bridal beauty team) and a new styling station is up and ready!! At least one day on the weekend Rob, the girls and I go and get bagels. I can’t resist an everything bagel toasted with locks and cream cheese . I’m a creature of habit.. and get this Every. Single. Time. Why does food bring me so much joy? Anyone else feel the same way?! Also on the weekends I go through my extension inventory. I double check the next three weeks out and look at all my new scheduled extension installs as well as my ...regular client bump up appointments. I had a beautiful new #NBR install today. I accentuated her natural darker blonde hair color with pops of honey blonde. One of the best things about a warmer hair color is that is has reflection. After a couple rounds of the salon being closed (5 Months actually) I’m FINALLY being able to see all my extension clients back in the salon to refresh their color. YAY! Bye bye roots and thrashed extensions. Everyone is due for new hair. And new hair means it’s time for a change. I’m loving the darker tones with pops of Carmel face framing highlights for my brunette babes and the lived in rooty look for my blondes. I have been playing around mixing warmer dimensional blonde tones with cooler toned blonde wefts. It’s a nice change for my blonde extension clients but still keeping them bright! Everyone is booking their next two appointments so they can get through the holidays. Can you believe Christmas will be here in 10 weeks . How the heck did that happen!?
