What an absolutely excellent day it would be to wake up to sweet, sweet Dottie. She’s a fully engaged and very kind, approximately, 5 year old chihuahua mix. Chihuahua mix is the best category that we could get her into but she’s more like, just shy of, a medium size dog. She’s as easy-going as any personality you’ll ever meet. A wonderful and truly beautiful girl that enjoys being engaged with people and other dogs. She will do fine as your one and only best friend or w...ith other kind dogs. Who loves hugs..? Meet Casey, a one-year old mixed breed pup. Petite in stature for a possible large breed dog but is more medium in size right now. She’s totally sweet and loves attention. Will do best being adopted into a family that wants to include her in their everyday life. As shelter staff, volunteers and a trainer has gotten to know Casey, the Newport Beach Animal Shelter has determined that she will do best in a home as an only dog that gets percent from her hu...mans or, even better would be, a home that already has a playful male dog that will help her build confidence. The established male dog in the home will need to be, what we call in the industry, bombproof. Meaning that the dog is social with all types of people and dogs. A male with a fantastic demeanor and temperament will allow Casey to learn from him. Casey LOVES people and is absolutely adorning when showing her affections to all humans that she meets. If you’ve been looking for a pint-sized, medium to large breed, velvety red cupcake canine then colorful Casey is your girl. Bubbles is back to the hiring process for NBPD. She had her medical exam today at Mariners Mile Pet Clinic. She was a little nervous but Dr Boyker and all the staff there are amazing.
