The Clown Triggerfish or Big-spotted Triggerfish is one of the most spectacular looking marine species. The round spots on the lower side of the body and the 'cigar' lips give it the name 'Clown'. The Galaxy Coral Galaxea fascicularis is a popular large polyp stony (LPS) coral that many reef enthusiasts have or want in their collection. It has a very delicate and brittle skeleton, but it is quite attractive. Its polyps resemble a star burst and are tipped in white, give it a sparkling crystal-like appearance. The tentacles have a mesmerizing movement to them as they undulate in the aquarium. Common names it is known by, reflecting some of those great characteristics, are the Star Coral, Crystal Coral, Brittle Coral, Starburst Coral, Scapel Coral, and Durian Coral.

The Plating Montipora Coral Montipora peltiformis is an attractive plate Montipora. It typically grows in colonies of thin plates or scrolling shapes, while attaching an encrusting base on rock. Rather than forming upright branches it has upright nodules on the surface, giving it a textured appearance. Hence one of its common names is Rice Coral. Like other plating varieties of Montiporas, it is fast growing but with its light weigh skeletal structure it easy to frag.
