What the heck!! I have a pimple right where the mask goes due to wearing, sweating and bacteria breeding in the mask every single day. Sorry to break it to you, but even if you are cleaning your mask and practicing great skincare just the friction of the facial mask is causing breakouts around the lip and chin area. This is the honest and (ugly) truth, aestheticians and your beloved skincare specialist get breakouts just like everyone else, especially at this time! An...d that is completely normal!! A lot of people are breaking out right now so don’t freak out . ( Remember; stress will. Cause major breakouts ) Here is a nighttime #beautyhack that I love. If you love the pimple stickers that you can leave on overnight but ran out or maybe don’t have the product at home but want to use some of the stuff you do have you can use salicylic 2% toner or salicylic 2% gel serum for this hack. In this video, I am using the @lotusmoonskincare Blemish Gel Control which is a 2% salicylic and glycolic blend. STEPS: 1 To begin, you want to make sure that you have fully cleansed skin. I like to do the tonic active from @lotusmoonskincare (which is the blue bottle) and go over the area first. (The rest of my face has moisturizer on) Reminder this is nighttime only! 2I then get a @cvs_beauty bandaid, draw a circle on the bandaid, cut it and place some Lotus Moon Blemish Gel Control directly onto the bandaid. 3I then place the bandaid with serum directly onto the blemish and leave it on overnight.What this does is it helps bring underneath dormant like blemishes to the surface the ones you can feel but you can’t see--then help dissolves them away. I did it on both pimples here. The pimple on the right that is white was underneath the skin and it really hurt, it was pretty intense! The one next to it was already out and it completely dissolved by the next morning!! I voted!!!! But This morning me and my voting fam bam @cookingwithed and @llcoolqueen woke up at 5am to make it to the polls by 6am. Thinking we are gonna get there early, be in-and-out, we showed up and y’all the line was down the street!! We waited in line for 2 1.2 hours (reason for the drastic lighting change in the photo and video lol) some people waited up to 11 hours!! I walked away proud that I exercised my privilege to vote by SHOCKED and DISAPPOINTED by the vot...er suppression in the south. The situation clearly looked like voting was made out to be an inconvenience and a privilege for those who have the luxury to wait in line for 2+ hours. But I’m not on here to be pessimistic, nope!
