** This is a Safe Option - Go Ahead and Share ** Have you ever bought or sold anything on the internet but were apprehensive to meet the person for the transact...ion? Rest assured, we are here to remind you of our Online Exchange Zone just outside of our police station in South Sacramento. This location is the perfect location to meet for private party transactions such as those made on Craigslist, Offer Up, or other classified ads. The Online Exchange Zone is under 24-hour video surveillance, is well lit, and is in the parking lot of our police station. Although police officers will not be present during transactions, we believe pre-arranging to meet in this designated area will deter any potential crimes and keep you from being a victim! This location is also safe as you are not giving away the location of your home or inviting unknown people to your home to sell your items. We encourage you to use the Online Exchange Zone when conducting these transactions at the Joseph E. Rooney Police Facility, 5303 Franklin Blvd., Sacramento, CA. We also included a few other tips aimed at keeping you safe during online sales/exchanges. We assume that if you hit ‘LIKE,’ you agree this is a safe option to use. If you hit ‘SHARE’ you would like your friends to know about this as well! #sacpd
