These items are actually made from the Indigenous artisans that this fundraiser is going towards. Handmade face masks @nativesol style available : www.nativesol.etsy.com Description: Handmade reusable, washable , and reversible masks. I added a piece of wire on the nose area so you can adjust them to your unique nose bridge in order to close any gaps in between. (Will try to use copper on the next batch) There is an opening in between that you can insert an extra layer for protection. Suggested layers are fabrics, tissue , coffee filters , etc. Some recommendations I... heard for extra protection is putting citric acid on the insert to make it anti-viral and anti-bacterial. I personally use essential oils (lavender / eucalyptus ) to put on my masks. Certain oils may need carrier oils to be diluted with. Made from various styles of fabrics. The ones pictured are made from printed malong fabrics and new vintage printed fabric. Each piece may vary depending on the fabric availability. One side May be in a solid color or different fabric to distinguish the two when you switch sides. I want to add that I’m pricing these at a community minded price to make them accessible so I’m not really making a profit out of these. Each piece is sewn by one mama sewer and want to thank you for your purchase. I also want to make more to donate to nurses / health care workers in need. But I want to also share a little more about copper on this post. They are known scientifically to be anti-bacterial and anti-microbial . It might be a good time dust off your copper bracelets and rings and wear them now for extra protec...tion (especially out in public). Or change your door knobs to copper or brass (67% copper) especially in bathrooms. More hospitals and health clinics need to use copper in their facilities .
