RSP Recruits had the opportunity for some great training this last drill weekend. With PMI on Saturday and some shooting at the Engagement Skills Trainer (EST) on Sunday at MCAS Miramar, RSP received incalculable training as they prepare to ship. #RSPSD #taprackbang

San Diego RSP, I thought it would be meaningful to share a little bit of History with you on this amazing day. On this day, 6 Jun 1944, 73 years ago the United States Army launched the largest sea to land invasion against the Germans on 4 different beaches. When the boats arrived at the beach and dropped the doors, the soldier were met with machine gun fire. They still decided to push to the beach even when there was no cover. Thousands of Americans died that day for the fre...edom we have today. This is just one example of the personal courage that we share with the fallen soldiers from the Battle of Normandy. I would like to share a video of that invasion with you to show you the courage they practiced that day. Also as a special bonus SPC Mowles thought it would be appropriate to show the images of his Great Grandfather who died during the battle. Good morning RSP San Diego, As you get settled back into civilian life you need to make sure that you stay in shape and diet correctly. This is he hard part of being both a civilian and a soldier. We will be post articles about exercising and eating healthy to help you on your journey to becoming the best soldier possible. This weekend SPC Mowles was asked many times about his diet, intermittent fasting. This article was the first article on my apple news. It will talk about ...the benefits of intermittent fasting and look into some of the results of the research. While looking at research it also compares the different between small meals every few hours versus an eating window. Take a look! Congratulations to our new Soldiers! These Soldiers were recruits here are RSP San Diego, and we are proud to hand them over to their M-Day units. These soldiers have accomplished that few Americans have accomplished; become members of our armed forces. Our new soldiers have all completed basic training and fulfilled the standards set forth by the #USArmy. After their Basic Training, the Soldiers went on to attain Military Occupational Specialties in fields ranging from Health Care Specialists to Parachute Riggers, and from Infantry #queenofbattle to Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Specialists.
