The Court has extended its public closure and limited operations through Friday, May 1. More information here:

Starting Wednesday, March 18, 2020, the Napa Superior Court will cut back court operations extensively in response to the coronavirus public health emergency. All non-time sensitive matters will be continued out approximately 8 weeks. The Court will endeavor to handle all time sensitive in custody matters with limited court operations. We’ve filed an application to the Chief Justice of the California Supreme Court for the emergency powers outlined in GC 68115. A more detailed plan for rescheduling court matters will follow shortly.

The current Public Safety Power Shutdown (PSPS) has not affected the Napa County Superior Court’s services at its Criminal and Historic Courthouses. The Court remains open for business as usual. The Juvenile Courthouse will be closed for the rest of the week, however. Case matters scheduled there through Friday, October 11, will now be heard in Department F at the Criminal Courthouse.
