Dr. David Black, a retired Navy Veteran, has waited a long time to get this procedure. When you get a total knee replacement there will be a period of time before you can get behind the wheel of a car. If it's your left knee that gets replaced then you can most likely drive after just about 2 weeks. If it's your right knee then you can expect to wait 3-4 weeks before driving again.
