De Familia a Familia de NAMI is a free, 12-session Spanish education program for family, friends, and significant others of adults with mental health conditions. De Familia a Familia de NAMI provides information about anxiety, depressive disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions. Other topics covered include communication, problem-solving, treatment, and recovery. The course is designed to increase understanding and advocacy skills while h...elping participants maintain their own well-being. The program is taught by trained family members who have a loved one with a mental health condition. De Familia a Familia de NAMI is an evidence-based program (EB). Do you or someone you know struggle with mental illness? NAMI Monterey County will be offering Peer-to-Peer February 23rd, 2022 and will run through April 13th, 2022 via Zoom! NAMI Peer-to-Peer is a 8 week mental health educational program designed for individuals who struggle with their mental health. The program builds on the strength and resilience of participants.
