In this lovely video, she shares reflections and wisdom on how to improve mother-daughter relationships, particularly across cultural barriers, and even when looking at mother/daughter figures, like teachers and students. Touching upon the innate nature of mothers and daughters, Sh. Muslema sheds light on the way mothers show love by sacrificing themselves for their daughters, and the way daughters show their love by taking on the burdens of their mothers. She offers helpful advice on learning how to "discover" the other so that we don't strain our mother-daughter relationships with unrealistic expectations. (Watch for a cute cameo by one of our youngest congregants!)
