Here is another local family education business that is facing business challenges. Since the pandemic, their enrollment has declined. Sue and Fuad are the owners of Gurus Education, could we help them out? Gurus Education provides after school enrichment programs for kids in the Bay Area. They focus on providing essential life skills to the youth by offering classes in public speaking, debate, content writing and personal finance for ages 6 through 12. Their classes have b...een taught in over 100 Bay Area locations from Almaden, Burlingame, Cupertino and across the South Bay. Due to the recent shift to online classes, they have adapted to the new reality, and moved their classes to virtual teaching. They have successfully completed the Fall Online Program in December and now are ready to enroll kids for the Winter session. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Now that the new year is upon us, I have started reflecting on my goals for 2021. During quarantine, I have started walking more and trying to keep active (outside of My Pizza). I usually go for 7-mile walks. I might have to double it after a comment my wife made. She noticed that I wasn't losing any weight after my walks and she asked me why. So I had to confess this to her. Recently, I was on my routine walk around town. I stopped by... A-Jay's at E second St. MH, owned by my friend, Nuonchan. She insisted that I try the popular A-Jay's Burger. She said I'll need some energy to walk back to my house. I tried to get out of it, but she kept insisting. I'll admit that the wonderful aroma coming out of the kitchen was so appealing. OMG after she finished making it, I was in heaven. Literally, a "paradise on earth" type of moment. Since then, I have made it a point to stop by A-Jays. As you can guess, I ended up adding more weight than losing weight, BUT it is always worth it. I prepared this flyer to let our beloved community know that A-Jay's Cheesesteaks really makes one of my favorites Cheesesteaks Sandwiches using very tender ribeye meat. You must try their great gourmet burgers. They are amazingly tasty. Just allow them some time to prepare. Thank you, Morgan Hill, and beyond. Your generous donations were delivered to the Fire Associates of Santa Clara. John Whiteside and his son Randy, both volunteers, just picked up the drinks and snacks. We have so much respect for John. At 80 years of age, he still volunteers his time to help the firefighters. Once again thanks to all the firefighters and first responders for saving our community.

Let’s show our love and gratitude to our HEROES, Firefighters. Dear My Pizza customers, With your help and support, My Pizza has been able to provide assistance and donate meals to some evacuees and Cal-Fire fighters. Today we could use the help of the Morgan Hill community to collect and organize snacks and drinks donations. Our plan is to package them into bags and deliver them to the firefighters that are protecting our communities. Many of these firefighters are stayin...g at our local hotels, camps and fire stations. We will sanitize all items before packing. We also will pass them to Fire Associates of Santa Clara so they can distribute them around the bay area. Donation items: - Hydration drinks like Gatorade etc. - Sealed nutritional snacks like granola bars (non-perishable) My Pizza will also purchase similar items to be donated on behalf of the Morgan Hill community. Hi My Pizza Friends and Customers, here's a public service announcement! My Pizza is a small, independent but extremely busy local restaurant. We make 600 to 800 pies on any given day. We make about 100 deliveries a day and serve over 250 customers on a busy day. Weekends are SUPER busy for us. With CDC guidelines in place to protect our staff and customers from exposure to COVID-19, we have to keep our cooks and staff at safe distances from each other. This impacts our workf...low. To avoid waiting time and to assist us, please follow these helpful instructions: 1. Call us ahead of time. Delivery time could be up to 2 hours on weekends, pick up time could be up to 90 minutes. All times are an ESTIMATE. 2. On average, during dinner time (4pm to 9pm), there could be 50 orders ahead of you, please do not come early to pick up your order; we don't like to see you waiting outside, especially with the bad air quality. 3. Please do not call to check on your order unless the delivery time has exceeded an additional 15 minutes. Our phone lines are already very busy. 4.When calling us, please have your order READY. Discuss with your family prior to calling us and have your payment information ready.
