Finding an architect? Well, we got burned the first time around with someone (who actually came recommended) yet didn't know how to translate what we wanted. Dropped him and worked with a gentleman up in Big Bear, it worked out better as this was his turf, and had the experience in the area - trouble free? well.... not exactly but worked out much better.
