Day 9 of 21 We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps. Proverbs 16:9 We all make plans as to what we want to do or accomplish. However, it is the LORD that has determined what is the best course for us. Sometimes He will block what we initially planned, and push us in a direction we did not plan. Sometimes, He opens doors we did not see or expect. It is needful to always seek the LORD’s guidance before we make plans and set out on our journey. We must remember that God’s way will always be what is best for us. Before we set out today, we must ask the LORD what His sovereign will is for us. Today, let us pray to always Seek first the kingdom of God

Day 8 of 21 ... Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. Matthew 8:8 Our prayers to God can be modeled after the way this man approached Jesus. First, he asked for help simply by stating a fact: Lord, my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly. This Roman-army commander didn’t make an official request or ask politely for anything from Jesus. He just cried out to Jesus in his need. When our pr...ayers are no more than a cry of pain, Jesus hears those prayers too. Second, the centurion trusted in Jesus’ power to respond. Even though Jesus offered to come in person and heal the servant, the centurion replied, Just say the word, and my servant will be healed. The centurion knew that Jesus was so powerful that he could heal people even if he was not physically present.
