UC Davis is creating a new four-year residential program for students with intellectual disabilities, thanks to a grant from the U.S. Department of Education. The MIND Institute and the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will jointly run the program, which will start in the fall of 2021. We can not allow the state to cut vital services provided by Independent Living Centers and our partner community based organizations. We need to increase and ...work to make Long Term Services & Supports (LTSS) more accessible for people with disabilities and older adults, not eliminate and cut them! Call and email your legislators. Educate them on what ILCs and aging organizations do for YOU and the community.
