Something that may be useful to some, given the evolving situation. My medical practice, My Doctor Medical Group at 450 Sutter in SF is now offering next-business-day COVID-19 PCR swab test results. This may be useful for those needing testing before surgery, dental work, visiting relatives, travel to other states, return to work, and many other use cases. It's fee-for-service but for PPO insurance we can help patients submit out of network for both the visit/collection and lab fees to get reimbursement later. The city's testing is booking out 2-3 weeks and Labcorp/Quest are having 8-10 day turnaround so we are offering the only flexible, expedited testing we're aware of for people outside of a hospital.
