LOOKING FORWARD... MESSAGES FROM OUR AUXILIARY PRESIDENT, SHERRY BLAKE... We have missed all of you so much! We are excited to share that the Auxiliary Board is planning a PICNIC LUNCH AND MEETING on Wednesday, June 9 at 12:00, noon, at Sierra Park in their picnic area. Please plan to bring your own lunch.... Dessert will be provided. More details to follow next month. Our first fundraiser for the year is being planned for July 2-3. It will be the RUMMAGE SALE. Many of you have shared that you have loads of stuff just waiting to be donated. Because of this, we will not be accepting donations from non-members of the Auxiliary. No clothing will be accepted this year. Also, no electronics as usual. We need lots of volunteers to help with set up and the sale. If you have not already done so, please contact Sherry at [email protected] or at 510 861-3954 with the days and times you are available to help. We are requiring that you have been vaccinated for COVID 19. Mi Wuk Sugar Pine FPD Posted: No Burning. This order is already in effect.

Once again we mourn the loss of a significant member of our community, Arlen Richardson was an advocate, supporter and more importantly, an active participant in not only the Fire Department and Auxiliary, but also the Mi Wuk Sugar Pine Community. Arlen led the Neighborhood watch, volunteered at the library, MAHA and other community based groups. Arlen was called the Mayor of Mi Wuk Village. He will be sorely missed.

Mi Wuk Sugar Pine Santa Drive 2020 Santa will be paying Mi Wuk and Sugar Pine a visit prior to Christmas, on December 23rd, starting at 5:30pm. Due to protecting Santa’s health, there will be no stops this year, but that does not stop Mr. Claus from getting out to see all the boys and girls. Santa’s motorcade will be starting along Chief Fuller Way and will be making his way through Mi Wuk and Sugar Pine along a designated route, while being escorted by Mi Wuk Sugar Pine Fire Protection District. Santa will be driving through Mi Wuk between 5:30 and 6:00pm. Santa will be driving through Sugar Pine between 6:00 and 6:30pm. Watch for red lights and listen for music, Santa Claus is coming to town. Below is Santa’s motorcade route.
