Hoy leemos "Yo Recuerdo a Abuelito: Un Cuento de Día de los Muertos" escrito por Janice Levy y llustrado por Loretta Lopez Pase por el Centro Comunitario Robertson para comprar bolsas de ofrenda de 6:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. ****************... Day of the Dead celebrated from Oct 31st to November 2nd. Today, we read, "I Remember Abuelito: A Day of the Dead Story". Stop by Robertson Community Center for ofrenda bags from 6pm to 8pm.
Our favorite youth organization Project Optimism are settling into their new space and it's everything! They have a co-working space, meeting room, a kitchen, multiple offices, and a giant backyard. Their wildest visions are becoming reality and we feel honored to be doing this work alongside them. PO supports and builds up youth leaders like no other, and we're so excited to see this level up!
With families spending more time online and at home Sacramento County - Government and United Way California Capital Region has created a program that offers free Internet, computers and education to low income families.
Happening Monday, pick up your free offrenda bag at the Robertson Community Center from 6-8pm or until all the bags are gone.
