Music at Murphy's

Reorganizing. In an attempt to make it just exactly perfect. Tomorrow night's Mondays at Murphy's, aka, Jammin' with the King, is at 6pm. NEXT WEEK it moves to 7-9:30, giving an extra 30 minutes to all the Joni's and Jackson's out there who want to play out!

Hot off the wet presses...the drizzle has put the kibosh on the tunes tonight. We'll go again, if the creek don't rise, next week. Tomorrow night, Friday, is the R&B flavored rocking trio "Z and the Benders" at 7 p.m. Saturday, the first day of Spring 2021, we send "Peace of G" out to entertain the crowd. Also a 7 p.m. start. Sunday is new-ish duo Mark Willson and Cliff Zykowski at 5 p.m.... The work weeks kicks off with Monday at Murphy's, aka Jammin' with the King. The North Bay's only family style open mic begins at 6 p.m. Mask up and and come down!

This weekend there is a ton 'o music in the Alley. We are presenting The Dick Conte Trio tonight at 5 p.m. Conte and his combo bring that cool, piano-y jazz. Tomorrow night, Friday, is big solo show. Mitch Woods, well-known Bay Area sideman and keys king, starts his first Murphy's gig at 7 p.m. Don;t miss this one. Saturday night is The Quaadudes! Rockin' good stuff at 7 p.m. Sunday evening at 5 pm starts Napa's Full Chizel with their energy on high. Monday will again be the... popular Jammin' with the King, aka Monday at Murphy's, California's only family style open mic. That event starts at 6 p.m. Come on down! See more

These fine folks will not be at Murphy's this weekend, but you might hear some of their songs. We are presenting some pretty talented bands the next few days...you should try to spring yourself and come on down. Friday we have the rocking duo Acoustic Soul. Fred and Jackie do a great job of covering a wide variety of material...great singing and superb playing. They might touch upon the Janis and Mick side of things. A 7 p.m. start. Saturday you have a chance to see the wonde...rful Kevin Russell and his Familar Strangers outfit. Theirs is more from the Elvis and Johnny side of the mug shots. Another 7 p.m. start. Full Circle hits the stage at 5 p.m. on Sunday. This talented trio could pull a song out of either corner of this bunch...maybe even the center! Come on down for social distancing, yummy food, face masks, beer, dancing in your seat fun.

The warm weather is teasing us, but the live music is definitely here! This weekend, we are presenting some good stuff, dripping with flavor. Tonight at 7 p.m. we have local favorites Peace of G taking the trio stage. Tomorrow, the Queen of the Alley, Sue Albano, will bring in her Scarlett Letters band for another 7 p.m. show. Sunday evening at 5 p.m., we will present Tim Eschliman's swingin' Back pOrch-estra. Delicious food is available to compliment the tast...y music. Of course, Monday will be the splendid "Jammin' with the King" at 6 p.m. Next weekend...more great stuff. Stayed tuned!

Come on down for the return of live music to Downtown Sonoma! Tonight we are featuring the fine trio Full Circle. Their tasty acoustic music starts at 7pm. The show is outdoors, under the big top. Full menu of food and drink available for your enjoyment. Tomorrow night, Saturday night, we present the very popular Scarlett Letters, featuring Sue Albano. They also begin their set at 7pm!... Yay! Live music! COVID precautions will be strictly observed. Fun will be encouraged.

The PA is moving into place, the microphones adjusted, the guitars are getting tuned up, the voices are warming. Live music starts up at Murphy's again this Friday! Friday night, 7PM, we are sending out (the appropriately named) Full Circle to start us off. The local band of accomplished musicians know how to delivery the goods, acoustic style. Saturday night, Sue Albano and her musical sidekicks come in for another couple hours of rock, trio style. Sue also starts at 7PM... Monday night marks the return of Jammin' with the King, the family style open mic that has been running since 2018. Bring an instrument and join the fun. Talk with the king himself, Johnn Murphy, about securing your slot. Limited to trios!!! Next week, we will fire up the full schedule of live music again...stay tuned!

Big tunes this weekend! Tonight, for your listening pleasure, we are presenting local treasure Jon Williams. His high energy solo gig starts at 7 p.m. Saturday night we are bringing in Jeff Desira with Dennis Haneda to play their Murphy's debut! The Vallejo based duo is all about the guitars and vocals. Showtime is 7 p.m. Sunday eve at 5 p.m. is O-Time, time for O and the Riots. Lynne and her gang sing songs familiar and strong... sing along! Shows are under the bigtop, near the space heaters, and socially distanced. Have fun!

Down the alley with the Basque name, Place des Pyrenees, is the Pub with the Irish slant...and modern twist. We feature live music five nights a week. We start ...off with Jazz by Alan Early and Chris Miano tonight (7:30). Saturday night (7:30) we bring in West County boy Kevin Russell and his Socially Distanced Friends. Sunday (5:30) is the dripping with talent duo Jaleh and Jesse (Royal Jelly Jive). And always, yummy food and drink, and COVID precautions to protect all. See more
