Mushroom Maestros Urban Farming

It’s been nearly 9 years since Ray started this group on Facebook and from it many great things have happened and many amazing connections have been made. People are learning to grow mushrooms to feed their families and their communities! If you’re thinking about growing mushrooms and don’t know where to start this page is a literal catalog of every question anyone has asked over the years about the subject! It’s a library. What a gift it is to so many! ... It’s been a joy to watch the moderation team function organically and democratically always with fairness and kindness being the governing factors in how we handle issues that undoubtably come up whenever anyone is passionate about anything. Trust me, some people are passionate about mycology ! Anyway, as the rains continue to grace us and I walk in the forest with the dogs each morning and I see the effect of the moisture on all of this decaying wood and humus layer I am thankful to the mycelium, and that led me to think of our beloved group. And all that the rain brings. On that thought, we hope this solstice is contemplative and warm for everyone.
