The unique MOTivating Teen Volunteer Program at the Museum of Tolerance introduces teens to the importance of Holocaust remembrance and encourages them to promote tolerance and respect within their own communities. Teen Volunteer Sophia Soll was inspired to paint a series of portraits of the Holocaust Survivors she met at the MOT. The Simon Wiesenthal Center/ Museum of Tolerance mourn the loss of Holocaust Survivor speaker, Elane Norych Geller. Elane shared her riveting testimony for over forty years, and inspired countless visitors to the MOT with her strength, courage and hope. Pictured in the second photo are two young boys who took advantage of the extraordinary opportunity to meet and hear from Elane at the MOT. Elane reached out to audiences of any size and all ages with a powerful message of tolerance and humanity.
