Springs' Summertime Chatter Camp provides an opportunity for our students (Grades 3rd through 12th) to stay connected with peers through fun online activities that support mental health, social wellness, and mindfulness. Sessions will start on June 1st and meet on Tuesdays for 5 weeks (June 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29). All sessions will be hosted by Springs School Counselors and/or School Psychologists. Meet Trevor, a Springs Classical Minds student at our Murrieta Student Center and an outstanding young athlete. Participation in Springs’ Classical Minds progr...am has given Trevor the flexibility to pursue his passion for jiu-jitsu and we are so proud of his accomplishments! Classical Minds supports families in the creation of a hybrid of on-site instruction and homeschool learning environment with students attending classes 2 days per week. Students are given the opportunity to engage in their interests and create projects to demonstrate their understanding. Students learn a variety of techniques in order to understand, analyze, and synthesize new knowledge. What's that? You want to show off your school spirit by purchasing one of our Murrieta Student Center shirts? Well, you are in luck because we have LOTS of them in both adult and child sizes! Shirts are $20 each and all the proceeds benefit the Murrieta Associated Student Body, who will use the money for community events and the promotion of school culture. As you can see, these shirts are comfortable, breathable, versatile, and greatly increase the handsomeness of anyone wea...ring them. Mr. Tom (pictured) wears a size Adult Medium and is 5' 8" tall (on a good day). You can get yours by emailing Mr. Tom at [email protected]. Be sure to include the number of shirts you want and sizes, including adult / youth. Arrangements will be made on an individual basis to collect payment and your order will be shipped to you, or be made available for pick up, after payment has been received.

Calling All 7th and 8th grade students

Hey #SpringsNation, WE NEED YOUR HELP! As we enter the final week of the legislative session, time to lift the growth cap is running short.... We NEED you to contact your legislators, especially Democratic ones (the entire Republican Caucus has already issued a letter of support for charter school growth funding), and to do the same for Governor Newsom. Such calls and/or emails need not be complicated (students can do them tooan excellent distance learning experience). We NEED an amendment to SB 820 to provide full growth funding for all students. EDUCATION FUNDS MUST FOLLOW THE STUDENT!! SB 820 (the clean up bill for SB98) is slated for hearing TOMORROW, August 25 in an Assembly budget subcommittee, potentially providing another opportunity for charter advocates to phone-in their opposition to the growth funding cap. PLEASE, take a few minutes TODAY to contact your local legislators and let them know you expect them to support EVERY STUDENT.
