Sealed bids must be received by the District no later than 5:00 pm Monday April 12, 2021. Bids may be mailed to the Murphys Fire District at P.O. Box 1260 Murphys Ca 95247, or delivered in person to 37 Jones St Murphys Ca 95247. The bid must include Name, address, phone number and the bid amount. The minimum bid amount has been set at $8,500.00. The vehicle will be awarded to the highest bidder at the April 14 meeting of the board of directors. Need not be present to be awarded. ***WARMING CENTER *** In cooperation with the Calaveras County Office of Emergency Services, the Murphys Fire District Training Center located at 58 Jones St. Murphys, will be open to the community as a warming center during the upcoming series of storms. Hours of operation will be 12:00pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday through Friday. For more information, contact OES at (209) 754-2890.

SAND BAGS AVAILABLE... Residents in need of sand bags for the upcoming storm can obtain them at our Fire Station located at 37 Jones Street, Murphys. It is self serve, (meaning bags and sand available, but you will need to fill the bags!)and is located in the parking lot of the station.
