Adopt-A-Plot volunteers Bruce and Kim McIntyre have been successfully managing their area and keeping new invasive weeds out for more than 5 years! Thank you to these and the many other volunteers who help us maintain this community oasis. Join the Park's Habitat Restoration Team for the "First Saturday of the Month" workday on Saturday, May 1 from 9 a.m. to noon, or email [email protected] for more information on how you can become involved. Wishing our community a blessed New Year! Several pastors from San Diego county and Mayor Bill Wells came together to pray over our cities from the mountain top this morning. Thank you to 40 Days of Hope, Compassion Church, Rock Church, and East County Transitional Living for your efforts, volunteer hours, prayers, and work to insure everyone went through all COVID protocols and stayed masked when not in their seat area this morning. You provided a safe opportunity for people to fill their hearts this first day of 2021 Transitioning from the sadness and negativity of 2020 to hope, healing, and love in 2021
Thrilled people were taking in the beauty of the Park on a very special Christmas Day in 2020. Mt. Helix Park was created by friends and family for times such as these to get away from the stress and the hustle bustle.
