Great news! We can now accept Treated Wood Waste (TWW) at our Pittsburg Recycling Center and Transfer Station. We recommend that when you load your material for hauling, you keep TWW separate from the other material for both pricing and processing efficiency. For additional information, please visit www.mdrr.com/tww

Great job, La Costa Taqueria for diverting your recyclables and organic material from going into the landfill! We appreciate your hard work helping the environment and keeping compliant! #BeResourceful #compliancespotlight

Did you know that plastic bags and films (soft plastics) can jam up the sorting equipment at our recycling center?! Please, don’t put soft plastics in your blue cart. Recycle soft plastics by returning them to your local retailer. To find a convenient recycling location, visit www.plasticfilmrecycling.org. If drop-off isn’t an option, reuse when possible, and place the soft plastics in your garbage cart. #getyourbluecartright #jamsourmachines #beresourceful #recyclingbeyondthebluecart

Just a friendly reminder that your disposable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) should be placed in your bagged garbage. These items are not recyclable. Stay healthy and be safe! #BeResourceful

Attention Multi-Family Complexes 5 units or more: The State needs your help to decrease greenhouse emissions by diverting recyclable material from going into the landfill. AB 341 requires your property to have a recycling program, and AB 1826 states that your green waste cannot go into the garbage. Have additional questions? Download our handy AB 341 & AB 1826 flyer or contact us today! www.mdrr.com/education/ #BeResourceful #compliancemadeeasy #AB1826 #reducinggreenhouseemissions #recyclingforabettertomorrow
