While I think it’s important to acknowledge the reality of any situation, I feel it’s essential that we net positive at the end of the day. There is always a light within the darkness, a valuable lesson in the hardship. For me, it seems like there is so much fear trying to consume our minds. But I feel thankful for the ability and choice to literally turn it off. Yes I can stay informed but I can also turn my focus to my community and the love and support they offer even from afar.
