Cuando tu eres, tu peor enemigo, tu verdugo y tu juez. No me gusta demostrar mis miedos o debilidades, no lloro delante de la gente y siempre estoy sonriendo, pero como todos puedo ser mi peor enemigo. Con estas imagenes quiero mostrar como me siento, lo que pasa por mi mente. In Literature for good or bad on can find them in the workd of greats such as Baudeliere ot Byron and in Fine Arts Gloria O’Keeffe took that relationship to a whole different level. Monica Carbonell dives back into that world and it does so with sublimely and creativity, her brush strokes are soft but poignant and one can find the scent of flowers scatter on the canvas as an elixir for everything that’s feminine. Her world is one full of whimsical images and symbolism, mother Earth and her flowers, a woman and her world. To enter her work is to go deep into the mystery of Life itself and into the journey of discovery which everyone takes during her life. . Texto Curatorial Las flores y las mujeres han forjado una unión indisoluble casi desde el principio del tiempo. Tanto en la literatura, por bien o por mal, uno puede reconocerlas en los trabajos de maestros como Baudeliere o Byron y en las bellas artes Gloria O’Keeffe elevó esa relación a un nivel casi impensado y provocador. Mónica Carbonell se zambulle en ese mundo y lo hace con sutileza y creatividad, sus pinceladas son suaves pero agudas, y hasta podemos encontrar las esencia de las flores desmenuzadas sobre la tela, como un elixir para todo aquello que es femenino. He born in 1967, in the same year and of the same generation are Karel Balas, Albrecht Schafer, Ruslan Kutnyak, Herly Gaya, and Etienne Cendrier. Cristian Mac Entyre was predominantly inspired by the 1980s growing up. The generation of artists that grew up in, and were inspired by, the 1980s was influenced by a period of quickly growing global capitalism, political upheaval, significant wealth discrepancy, global mass media and distinctive music and fashion, including electronic pop music and hip hop. The hills, the sunflowers, the prairies are all a spectacle of the passionate soul that painted them. To stare into Franko’s world is to jump into a Nietzschean abyss and come back jubilant, exultant and reborn. Huxley spoke of the Doors of Perception but Frank’O painted them in front of our very eyes. In his paintings we perceive Tuscany, yes, but that is only in the surface because once we got hypnotized by his world we find a soul that refuses to be silent, a bravado of color and texture without regards for excess and what it may bring.
