Mouse-Con Bakersfield 13.11.2020

Hey there fans & friends! Hope everyone is doing well in this quarantine and hope everyone is staying home safe. We just wanted to announce Vic Mignogna will be... attending our con on the 21st & 22nd of November to meet the fans, do a panel, sell some pictures and spend the weekend with everyone! We have also asked Todd Haberkorn and Kyle Hebert if they can still be guests at next years show, both just have to check next years schedules and will find out soon. So let’s welcome him to Bakersfield’s biggest comic convention! Vic Mignogna is an American voice actor and musician known for his voice-over work in the English dubs of Japanese anime shows, the most notable being Edward Elric from the Fullmetal Alchemist series, for which he earned the American Anime Award for Best Actor in 2007. Other notable animation roles include Broly from the Dragon Ball films, Tamaki Suoh in Ouran High School Host Club, Fai D. Flowright in Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, Dark in D.N.Angel, Kurz Weber in the Full Metal Panic! series, Zero and Ichiru Kiryu in the Vampire Knight series, Christopher Aonuma in Digimon Fusion, Nagato and Obito Uchiha in Naruto Shippuden, Ikkaku Madarame in Bleach, Qrow Branwen in RWBY, and Matt Ishida in Digimon Adventure tri. In video games, he is the voice of E-123 Omega in the Sonic the Hedgehog series and Junpei Iori from Persona 3. In live-action work, he has participated in several Star Trek fan productions, including Star Trek Continues, where he plays Captain James T. Kirk. Mignogna has an official fanclub called Risembool Rangers.

Hey Fans & Friends, we are hoping you are all staying Safe, Happy and Sane through these times of Stay At Home orders and catching up on your favorite Anime s...hows. Maybe trying out some new ones or rewatching some of your classic old ones. Either way we hope you are all making the best of this situation and making sure you and your loved ones are all healthy. . But now to our news It is with a heavy heart that we are contacting you now. It seems the May 30/31 Bak-Anime will have to be Canceled. The Kern County Fairgrounds has contacted us and informed us that Bak-Anime will have to be postponed till next year. We have the dates for the 2021 show, and its May 22nd/23rd, 2021. We tried to schedule a few new dates, to find something, but with all the other shows cancelling (Fanime and such) and re scheduling, we couldn’t find anything that was good for you fans. . Just For You...We will still be having Bakersfield Comic Con in November (the 21st & 22nd) and we have asked VIC MIGNOGNA (who we were ready to announce for this years Bak-Anime here on FB, and he was already on the website), to come to BFCC and be a guest, meet the fans, do a panel, sell some pictures and spend the weekend with you fans. We have also asked @official_habergram and @kylehebert if they can still be guests at next years show, both just have to check next years schedules and will find out soon. . We will be refunding any ticket money in the next few days so please give us a little time. Anyone who purchased an Exhibitor table or Artist Alley table will be receiving a separate email within the next week. . Thank you all for the love and support for the past years and we will continue to keep you up on what is going on with Bak-Anime and our community right here. Also, Please support our local Comic Book / Gaming shops in the area When this is all over we will be needing them more than ever. . Stay Happy, Stay Sane and most of all, Stay Safe . Hey Mouseketeers... Its been a while since we posted here... things have been progressing well for the January 24th, 2020 Bakersfield Mouse-Con. We just want to take this time to say a few words of Hope to all of you. We know things are hard right now for everyone. So please try to help who you can... Stay At Home! Wear A Mask and Gloves if you have to go out! BE A SUPERHERO! And most of All... Please Be Safe. We will wait to make any announcements for the show. We are sure ...that, by January, we will all be safe and able to get out and have fun. We will watch the updates as they come. The website will have constant updates as they come, but we will post later. So you are always welcome to ask anything you like and check out the website too. Hey Mouseketeers, Thank you again for coming our for the 1st Annual Mouse-Cob Bakersfield. We, unfortunately, ran out of T-Shirts by 11am. A LOT of fans still wanted them. We have talked to the printer (Visual T's here in Bakersfield) and they still have the screens and are willing to gointo print for us. Here is the deal. If you are still interested, we have 1 week to take orders and they will print and we can ship them out. The shirts were $10 for S,M,L & XL and $12 for 2X... & 3X... we will have to ad $5 for shipping (up to 4 shirts). Note: these are all "mens style" shirt, they don't have womens shirts ORDERING INFO: We MUST have your order by Feb 6th (we will place the order on the 7th). Once you ask for shirts we will send you a paypal link to pay for shirts, We can't order shirts unless paid for. SHIPPING INFO: We will be shipping the shirts about 10 days after they are ordered (takes time to print). Thanks again for the support and love we received. Hey Mouseketeers, Its Friday night and the last post before the show... just wanted to give you all some last minute info... ADMISSION: There will be PLENTY of Admission Tickets available at the door, we will NOT sell out. Just because "pre-sales" are closed, you can still buy tickets at the door.Tickets at the door are only $10 and Kids 12 & under are FREE! VENUE: Remember, we are in Building #4, the "Arts Building"... PARKING: It is FREE, please go to GATE 28, if you park in the regular parking lot, you will be charged... make sure you go to GATE 28. Thanks WEATHER: There is a 10-20% chance of Rain, so dress warm and if it does rain it will be later in the day (they did say light rain), but, just wan to make sire you all know. FOOD: We will have a fun menu from Papa Johns in a great resturant style room. So you don't have to leave the show all day. All the guests are scheduled and ready, the vendors will be set up and ready, the Panel Schedule is complete, The "Alice In Wonderland" escape room is all set... Rob's Bio: Rob Gibbs has been a story artist for Disney and Pixar, making up twenty two years of his animation career. Rob has worked on such films as Pocahontas, Monsters Inc., Toy Story 2, Finding Nemo, Cars, Wall-E and Up. At Pixar, Rob directed/co-directed thirteen shorts called Cars Toons: Mater's Tall Tales. Most recently, Rob has been writing a screen play and illustrating his own children's books.
