My son Wyatt passed away in 2017. When he was in the NICU, I wasn’t able to provide him with breastmilk because of my c-section. A nurse told me not to worry because the milk bank would be able to help. Unfortunately, Wyatt passed before needing the milk. Eloise, his little sister, happens to be drinking formula because of her allergies; therefore, we decided to donate her breastmilk supply to Mothers’ Milk Bank San Jose in honor of Wyatt. We donated 342 oz. This milk will h...elp build the immune system of other babies in the NICU, and help relieve a little stress for the mothers. _____ #milkwarrior #mothersmilkbanksj #mothersmilkbank #breastmilk #donatebreastmilk #breastfeeding #donate #liquidgold #savelives #donatenow #preemie #babies #nicu #thankful #nonprofit #wcw #breastisbest #goodcause #givingback #nonprofitorganization #lactation #supportbreastfeeding #normalizebreastfeeding #PowerOfHumanMilk #HumanMilkAsMedicine #DonorMilkSavesLives #WorldBreastfeeding #tbt #parents

I decided to donate my excess breastmilk because my little one is a picky eater and prefers freshly expressed milk. But aside from that, I was blessed with an abundant supply of milk and I wanted to share it with any mamas and babies who may need it. My heart has grown once I became a mom and now my heart is even bigger knowing I can help others. _____ #milkwarrior #mothersmilkbanksj #mothersmilkbank #breastmilk #donatebreastmilk #breastfeeding #donate #liquidgold #savelive...s #donatenow #preemie #babies #nicu #thankful #nonprofit #wcw #breastisbest #goodcause #givingback #nonprofitorganization #lactation #supportbreastfeeding #normalizebreastfeeding #PowerOfHumanMilk #HumanMilkAsMedicine #DonorMilkSavesLives #WorldBreastfeeding #tbt #parents See more

Be love, be a light. As a stay at home mom, often times I would find myself losing sight of the light that once so brightly shined within. With the birth of my second baby, I quickly found a beaming light that I knew I could radiate to others in need. I feel very blessed to be able to donate over 650 oz of liquid gold to the Mothers’ Milk Bank for NICU babies & mothers in need. What a brilliant resource you all provide to these precious miracles. Sending love & prayers for... all of the sweet little babies that will be able to illuminate & thrive from the light that I was able, blessed, & so happy to give. _____ #milkwarrior #mothersmilkbanksj #mothersmilkbank #breastmilk #donatebreastmilk #breastfeeding #donate #liquidgold #savelives #donatenow #preemie #babies #nicu #thankful #nonprofit #wcw #breastisbest #goodcause #givingback #nonprofitorganization #lactation #supportbreastfeeding #normalizebreastfeeding #PowerOfHumanMilk #HumanMilkAsMedicine #DonorMilkSavesLives #WorldBreastfeeding #tbt #parents

Staff Appreciation: Today is Ellie Nguyen’s last day! She has been working with us at the Mothers’ Milk Bank for 1.5 years. Her favorite aspects of working here has been the friendly and positive work environment with her coworkers, getting the chance to learn and help donors donate their extra breaks milk to babies in need and seeing our freezers packed with milk! Ellie has been such a hardworking, optimistic and diligent employee here. We are going to miss Ellie’s cheerful presence and wish her all the best in her future endeavors! <3

September is Neonatal Intensive Care Awareness Month! This is a time to honor and give more light to the babies and families who have experienced a stay at the NICU. It’s also an opportunity to give thanks to the wonderful healthcare workers who work hard to help these babies on a daily basis. ... #nicuawarenessmonth #nicuawareness #nicu #milkwarrior #mothersmilkbanksj #mothersmilkbank #breastmilk #donatebreastmilk #breastfeeding #donate #liquidgold #savelives #donatenow #premie #babies #thankful #nonprofit #wcw #breastisbest #goodcause #givingback #nonprofitorganization #lactation #supportbreastfeeding #normalizebreastfeeding #PowerOfHumanMilk #HumanMilkAsMedicine #DonorMilkSavesLives #WorldBreastfeeding #tbt

Donor Appreciation: After delivering my second, I couldn’t stop crying because my milk hadn’t come in. We were substituting with formula but his body wasn’t digesting it very well so he was uncomfortable. I made a commitment to try and increase my supply because I overproduced with my first. Now I understand all pregnancies and all babies are different but I felt like I wasn’t being fair. I kept asking myself, what if I can’t give him breastmilk like I did for my firstborn? ...I overproduced with him so why don’t I have any for my second? The following day, I pumped and pumped, determined to give it my all. Slowly but surely my milk started coming in. The baby blues went away, my baby was feeling better and so was everyone else in the house! Fast forward to now, I feel like my home is a dairy farm. We have breastmilk stored everywhere! I don’t want other moms to stress over not being able to provide for their babies so here I am today, donating 1,980 ounces to help babies in need. No mom should ever feel like she isn’t enough. It takes a village to raise a child! _____ #milkwarrior #mothersmilkbanksj #mothersmilkbank #breastmilk #donatebreastmilk #breastfeeding #donate #liquidgold #savelives #donatenow #preemie #babies #nicu #thankful #nonprofit #wcw #breastisbest #goodcause #givingback #nonprofitorganization #lactation #supportbreastfeeding #normalizebreastfeeding #PowerOfHumanMilk #HumanMilkAsMedicine #DonorMilkSavesLives #WorldBreastfeeding #tbt #parents
