To our dear friends who do not live on the coast, we urge you to please stay away from the San Mateo County coast this weekend and until the CZU lightning complex fire has been contained. Wildfires have burned over 50,000 acres of the south coast and 64,000+ people have been evacuated with more evacuations currently underway. For public safety, Caltrans and the Highway Patrol have closed both directions of Highway 1 south of Pescadero. Half Moon Bay beaches have been closed a...nd parking lots are being used by evacuees and support personnel. As you know, there are limited evacuation routes off the coast, so we request your help by staying away so that evacuees and emergency personnel can get through. Please consider supporting coastside businesses by purchasing gift cards and/or shopping online. Thank you for your cooperation and support! The Moss Beach Distillery's panoramic ocean view bluff and Seal Cove Patio socially distanced dining is featured in a San Francisco Chronicle article, "10 scenic waterfront restaurants open in the Bay Area right now"! We have finally been given the green light to open our patio as of Saturday, June 6th!!! We are looking forward to seeing you all again! Patio Open Monday through Sunday, 12pm - last reservation at 7:15pm The safety of our guests and staff is of the utmost importance so we want to assure you that the rules and regulations set forth by the San Mateo County Health Department’s Social Distancing Protocol will be strictly adhered to.... Some of the changes to expect: Reservations are highly recommended - with the required distance of 6 feet between tables, our seating will be very limited. Check in with the front desk (through front door) upon arrival. We will issue you a number that will be required before seating. An hour and a half will be allotted per table. This is a tough rule for us to implement as our patio has always been first come, first serve but with the required table distancing limiting our available tables and not having an option with inside seating, this is our way of making sure we give as many guests as possible the opportunity to enjoy the patio. Servers will not be utilized as of yet so orders will be placed at our downstairs counter. We have 6 foot markings at the entrance to remind guests to maintain distance. For your safety, we have chosen to continue to serve your food in take out containers. Our runners will make sure that your orders are delivered to you and that your area is cleaned and sanitized before being seated. Alcohol sales must be accompanied with a meal as required by the Alcoholic Beverage Control. Staff will be required to wear masks and gloves. Hand sanitizer bottles will be set at each table. Guests are asked to keep their masks on while ordering and being guided to their seats. As an alternative to the patio, guests may call in orders for pick up. We will give you the option to take your payment information over the phone so that upon arrival, your order and receipt can be delivered to your car.
